Our Story
It all started with Sully - our sourdough starter.

Back in 2019, just before the world slowed down, I reconnected with an old love: baking. After 14 years away from the trade, I had almost forgotten the simple joy of creating something nourishing from scratch. Sully was my way back in- the first step on a journey I didn't know I was ready to take.

With time on my hands and a house full of eager taste-testers (and some very honest critics), I set out to perfect my sourdough. Loaf by loaf, mistake by mistake, I pushed to get it just right - and somewhere along the way, I found my rhythm. I now genuinely believe this is the best organic sourdough around.

What makes it different? I only use certified organic ingredients - no additives, no nasties. Our flour is sourced from farms that prioritise sustainability and soil health. That matters to me. All of it adds up to what I proudly call Better Bread.

From Baker to Bread
I'm a qualified baker and pastry chef, and I spent more then a decade in the trade- helping bakeries get off the ground, learning the craft, and experimenting every step of the way. While I loved the work , the hours were intense and eventually, I stepped away into a completely different industry.

The change was good for me but deep down, I missed it.

I've spent the last few years learning everything I can about sourdough. I quickly realised its not as easy as it looks - and thats what makes it beautiful. Getting the perfect loaf - the crust, the crumb, the flavour - became a quiet obsession.

What I love most? No two loaves are ever the same. Each one is unique, just like the people I bake them for.

I'm not afraid to try something new or bold - I love pushing the limits with flavour and creating loaves that surprise and delight. Thats what keeps it fun, creative, and fulfilling.

I am also a proud father of four, and nothing brings me more joy than showing my kids that you can always reinvent yourself - that it's never too late to follow your passions. For me, this isn't just about bread. Its about building something honest, real, and meaningful - right here at home.
